I think it's spelled more like Bakuryuuha, but that's just wierd.

Here's why:

Enter 'baku' into Online English to Japanese to English Dictionary.

Result: 'command esteem, win acclaim, gain, receive'

So far it might make sense.

Enter 'ryuuha' into same.

Result: 'school (e.g. of ikebana)'

:shock: EH?

Let's try again...

'Ba' = 'place, field (physics)'
'Ku' = 'ward, district, section' or 'nine' or 'bend over' or 'phrase, clause, sentence, passage, paragraph'
'Ryuu' = 'style (suf) of, method of, manner of' or 'axe, kill'
'Ha' = 'edge (of a sword)' or 'leaf' or 'tooth' or 'clique, faction, school'

Selecting the ones that seem to make the most sense I get: 'Place ward kill edge.'

Or maybe it's 'Place nine kill(ing) edge'? :?

(I gotta learn to speak Japanese.)

Bakuryuuha is correct, but the translation is WAY off.

Baku = twister
Ryuu = dragon
Ha = edge

Original Word: Bakuryuuha
Dummy English: Twister Dragon Edge (not really too much of a dummy english translation since it kinda works..)
Translation: Dragon Edge Twister

In the movie, in English, they used Dragon Twister as a separate attack, but it was the same in Japanese between Sounga and Tetsusaiga, which made it kinda awkward. This translation is also stated in the playstation game "A Fuedal Fairy Tale" where it's also translated as Dragon Twister, so either Dragon Twister or Dragon Edge Twister woulda done it.

Sorry for the double post, but i have one more thing to say. That translator isn't very good. It's missing alot of common words from it's dictionary, and if it does have the word, it more than likely has the wrong translation, or it has so many translations that you don't know what is right.

All translations depend on the kanji characters used for the word.

Ex.

Uzumaki
Trans: Spiral
Site: Whirlpool; Eddy

Tori
Trans: Bird
Site: Tenth sign of the zodiac (which is the rooster, so it's wrong); in the heart; bird; foul; poultry

Tama
Trans: Jewel; Spirit
Site: Soul; spirit; ball; sphere; bullet; shot; shell

Damare
Trans: Stop
Site: N/A

Ga
Trans: Fang
Site: Moth

Konbanwa
Trans: Good evening
Site: N/A

Ohayou
Trans: Good morning
Site: N/A

Hi
Trans: Fire; flame; blaze; Sunday (i could be wrong because i might have gotten the days mixed up.. @_@)
Site: Cost; expense; ice; hail; faulty; non-; fire; flame; blaze; sun; sunshine; day; light; negation; wicked person; no; the noes; ratio; proportion; spoon

Etc.

But yeah.. > > I found one translator one time that worked well but the server didn't like the system. I can't remember the link off the top of my head though, so i'll have to find it.. > >

I do not believe he ever wore one, however, he may have "supposed" to look like a "Pimp" in episode 69 - "Terror of The Faceless Man". If I am mistaken, I am sorry^_^

Peace.

Good point. And good grief. I thought there was something odd about what I was getting. @.@

0.o Eh? I don't recall him looking anything like a pimp, particularly in that episode. But I may be forgetting something. Anyone have screencaps of that one?

The only time he ever looked anything like that was when he had that suit on, surrounded by women asking them if they'd bear his children, which was imagined by Kagome when talking to her friends. Whew! cant believe i remembered that.
