My thoughts exactly. And then there's the editing out of anything even remotely gross or gory. I mean, really. What's sad is that anything animated is assumed to be for kids, or at least of a juvenile nature. (Looney Toons were originally intended for adults, as were The Flintstones and quite a number of the early Hannah-Barbarah cartoons.)
