Mm... it didn't "wow" me, but it definitely interested me. I laughed SO MUCH when Takuto and Taubern did that little transformation, because this is all I could think about when I watched it:

Looks fairly interesting though. The trailer didn't REALLY grab me, but there wasn't anything that looked bad about it either. As I keep saying, if nothing else, it will be pretty. I'm digging the art style.

Well if its Bones, must be awesome. I was searching for pictures and
well...from Bones too; Darker than black and Eureka 7 -in my opinion-
are animes with generic characters design but they're very good series...

honestly, I don't know anything about the star driver series however I have to admit that trailer was amazing. I don't know if this series is supposed to be serious or humorous but either way it looks awesome, they need more transformation scenes like that these days, currently it's all about boobs and a$$, gets a little boring after a while. good to see a series mixing it up.

So it looks like based on character designs, there IS going to be some fanservice. I just hope it doesn't corrupt the show.

I'm not really seeing similarities. ? I mean it doesn't really look like Death Note-style characters to me.

Yeah about design...well death note and bakuman styles has lot
of differences (main bakuman draws are pretty different of the first
chapters draws), but with faces and eyes, has a lot of similar things
but well, maybe is just my impression or i'm just on drugs.





Even if design is similar i don't care, i watch animes because they're intresting
and if it's Bones, this must be very good =)

Ah, I see. Well maybe BONES had inspiration for that for the girl's character design. (I don't see similarities in the guys' between Bakuman and Star Driver.)
However since you posted eg's of your findings, I wouldn't be surprised if they were influenced with the way the girl's were drawn.

True..but the main guy seems very familiar to Trap, a manga inside
Bakuman story but i couldn't find a good picture ^^'
But well well they're just similar stuff, but two different thing
so it doesn't matter =O It was just an opinion XD
