Whoa. Calm down. As far as I can see, no one was "dissing" on Trigun- they were just complaining that the ending (and most anime endings) was left open. Even if they were insulting Trigun, they can have their opinion- and yes, they are allowed to have it in a Trigun thread.

No, Knives is not dead. I thought the ending was pretty clear about that, although I don't really know if Vash expects him to change or what. As for Legato not being dead. . . how did you arrive at that conclusion? He got shot in the head and slumped down. He looked pretty dead to me. Also, his whole motivation for letting Vash shoot him was to make him suffer eternal pain for killing someone (directly). It'd be contrary to his purpose if he wasn't really dead.
