Hell, I find Creed one the most horrifically insane enemy since he's always obsessed with Train going berserk. I still hate the fact that Saya got killed off too early in the series.
One of the things that I've learned from anime is that the unconfirmed death of an important character, where you never see a dead body and they are never buried, often means that they are probably still alive and will serve as deus ex machina at a later point. Since they didn't find Saya's body, I'm expecting that she might show up later (although maybe that's just wishful thinking). She was my favorite character and she seems like too good of a character to kill off so early in the show.
Final Doom "Amazing things will happen here soon."

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Substance "Everyone knows that it's a dangerous substance."

From what I got from the manga readers, Saya is seriously dead and won't come back ever. Though Gonzo did do a "creative" adaptation of the manga so there might be some small chance of her coming back. But the fact is that Saya got brutally stabbed by Creed, and there's no way she can survive that and escape from that tanker explosion (unless Gonzo makes up some weird excuse of how she survive).

*sigh* It's such a crime to kill off cute girls who are able to bring angsty bishie guys into their good side. Well, there's always Eve, and she and Train do make one badass team! 8-)

Ok, stuff happens, and the Sweepers decided to help Chronos by being decoys on Creed's island while Chronos infiltrate Creed's homebase. BUT the most important thing that happened in episode 18 is that we FINALLY get to see Eve fight at her max against that kid Leon. Anyone one who's been dying to see Eve fight, this episode certainly delivers it! 8-)

And most of the episode dealt with more fighting against Creed's flunkies. Though I have to say, they're really setting up for the final ultimate battle against Creed himself (which obviously Train is going to face). Exciting stuff!

Its pretty cool. I will definently consider picking it up when it gets state-side.

The Clarken Island episodes were awesome

All the different types of fighting and unique powers -- blew my mind!
And Creed's number on the piano as he's fighting with the Chronos leader, that fight scene alone was amazing. :D The music was to die for!

I think "Kraken" sounds like a far better translation of an evil island hideout...

Episode 20....
...Eve turns EVIL!!!! :o

Or should say she got reverted back into her berserk badass self thanks to MORE betrayers of Chronos. Oy!!!
I guess this is the last arc before the series ends. At least we get more Eve goodness. 8-)

I'm a fan of the manga, and I was kinda disapointed in some of the changes from the manga to the TV seires, mostly the fact that Train wasn't partners with Sven before they saved Eve. I liked the competitive nature of Eve and how she tries to be more helpful to Sven than Train and uses train as an incentive to get stronger. At that time eve felt kinda powerless since sven and Train made such a great team together and she couldn;t contrinute much, and she grows alot througout the manga. Do they eventually go back to that route, is the later episodes closer to that of the manga, in their relationships with each other? I kinda lost interest around eps 10 or so I think, but I may give the later episodes a shot.

Whoa, that actually happened in the manga?! I believe they loosely followed the manga up until the final battle with Creed. I believe the new stuff they just started with Eve it's all of Gonzo's doing.
could be spoilers wrote:Heck, some people were complaining that Train didn't get to learn some sort of Railgun attack or Sven getting an upgrade on his eye.

Now about that stuff you mentioned about Eve being competitive, I don't think they covered that in the anime. I think the producers are going for the "romantic" relationship between her and Sven.
