My best friend seems to really hate Sara. She keeps wishing she'd vanish from the series.. o_O She's also a big Kira fan ( just like me! X3 ). The 'attempted' anime of it was a real disappointment..
I wish they'd try again and make a better one because it's fun to see it in color and moving.. > > ( and keep the good characters in this time dangit! > < )

Actually, later on I do begin to appreciate Sara. When she dies, her soul begins to develop into a character that I actually respect.

Kira is my favorite, though! I love his loyalty and bold character! Not to mention he is so clever and sweet. [His voice in the anime wanted to make me strangle myself, though <<]

I agree with Lunacat there. The voices do suck...especially Rosiel's and they did miss out alot ay! I never realised till i read the manga

I heard a lot of good reviews about Angel Sanctuary, but I rented it from Blockbuster and it was flaming poo, then someone told me that I might have been watching the wrong thing.

Is there a movie and a TV series???

I have only Volumes: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. I want to get more, but some aren't avaliable. Anywayz, I love Angel Sanctuary. I don't like the OVA very much, but the Manga is thrilling and lovely~ My favourite of all!

Angel Sanctuary... The Anime is simply horrible. Characters are missing, just like said before me. And the characters make the story. I cried (nearly) when I saw that Zahikel and Raziel weren't in the party. Oh, and the characters who were here... They just have killed Katan ! He's absolutely ridiculous, and Rochel too :/

Manga ! Yeah, that's the only way =D Storyline is amazing oO Characters are all wonderfuls ! Even the useless characters (like Ruri) are worked.
And the protagonists (Setsuna, Sara, Mikael, Raphael, Uriel, Sevoth-Tart, Metatron, Sandalphon, Kira, Yue Kato, Rochel, Katan, Kourai, Arachnide, BELIAL ...)... It's just amazing, I don't have any other words to describe this absolutely perfection.

To speak about the picture in itself, it's just the most gorgeous manga I've ever seen.

In conclusion : a manga to read but don't see the anime.

And no, there isn't even a TV series. What you saw was the horribly created, horribly dubbed OVA eps. There is no movie, and if there was, they'd probably just horrify us all with that too.. (i thought the manga was scary, but the OVA takes scary to a new level mixing it with horrible voices and stuffs.. T.T)
