This show is fun. Me and My brother refer to it as Harem Kenshin (I only do so for his sake as Japanese just doesn't stick in his head.)

So many things just don't make sense in this show ... the whole plot just seems thrown together .... even the fan service is half assed! Yet somehow i keep watching.

read the manga, it's much better, as most manga tend to be compared to their anime counterparts. The problem with the anime (or many anime series in general) is that you can take a manga chapter and it will only fill maybe 10 minutes of footage if you make it exactly like the source material, however since anime episodes have around 22 minutes of footage they have to fill in that extra space with more material which, if not done correctly, makes the episode subpar. The better anime series are those that can make episodes withing detracting from the story while still being able to fill in the time.
