Episode 11 was pretty amusing.
Spoiler :
- Though I couldn't relate to the stuff about the train since I've never been on a train before. Though I can relate to the fact that 5 minutes does seem like a long time when riding any other transportation.

- Konota still believes that Santa Claus is real?

- I feel sorry for the teacher and her single life; ouch!

- Getting static shocks suck ass! Though Konota's father seems to be trying to harness it.

- Wow, the ED song for the week is the theme song from Doraemon. Must have been nostalgic for some peeps.

Spoiler :
yeah...the static electricity thing was the best part. I dunno why, but I nearly died laughing at the part where the 3 girls go for the door and flinch away, and kona goes to open it..."NO" "UES!" hahahaha :/ And the Tsukasa/Kagami static spark, that was funny too.

I guess I can sympathize with the train riding thing...riding the trolleys in a big city I visited and being all nervous that I would miss my stop (I was 14 at the time) so they'd really quickly announce each stop, and I'd strain to hear what they said...and nearly get off cause I thought they said my stop :/

Overall though, really enjoyable ep of LS...I found it funny that Minoru had a part in the show that was a bit longer than he usually does, and that Akira is now excited because apparently they'll put her in the show in ep 12. Who wants to bet she'll not get put in or her cameo will be really subtle and she'll get pissed? :)

Yeah, I liked that static electricity part. Nice reference right there with Konata's dad's reaction when he got shocked with his arms like that dude in Haruhi Suzumiya(basically, that dude in Atomx's current avatar.. actually, that's the reaction right there too with the arms) haha.

Spoiler :
Episode 11 was funny, even though I think static shocks are fun, the whole thin with the twins shocking each other and especially when Konata opens the door, is really funny. Waiting for a bus or a train really sucks, 'nuff said... and who hasn't fallen asleep on the bus and missed their stop?

Kill lucky Channel, it's a useless waste of time that was funny 7 eps ago...

You shut your whore mouth when Akira is talking!

The Christmas stuff in Ep 11 wasn't really that funny to me, but the static electricity bit was great, as was the train stuff. I've never fallen asleep past my station, but my neighbor has, multiple times, much to my amusement.

I'm actually having a conversation with one of my Mixi friends about the OP right now - she's screwing with me by pretending to not understand why we (Americans/foreigners) consider the lyrics to be so ridiculous. At least, I hope she's screwing with me...

Ahahahaha. (see spoilers below)

Episode 12 thoughts:
Spoiler :
The episode brings back memories of watching Genshiken and Comic Party. Konata at Comiket is just plain interesting to watch. Kagami's reaction to the doujinshi was just golden. And poor Tsukasa...

The scene with the Animate store employees was plain awesome. Especially since the actor who does the Tenchou's (guy in red with the visor) voice is Tomokazu Seki who does the voice of Sousuke Sagara from Full Metal Panic! and the voice of the other employee (blue apron, red tie) is done by Tomokazu Sugita who did the voice of Kyon from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (the character is an animated version of him). Yes, their LS characters hold up cards of their respective counterparts. And both have the same complaint: sales of their cards lag behind that of the cards with more popular characters (Tessa for FMP! and Yuki Nagato for TMoHS).

And the scene preceding that one has the actress that did Nagato's voice Minori Chihara playing herself (god, that anime version of her is super cute). And the guy in the pink heart shirt supposedly resembles Shoji Gatoh, the creator of FMP!

And where is Akira in this episode? She's seen on a life-sized promo prop that gets knocked over by accident. The reason you don't see Akira in the episode proper? Watch the Lucky Channel segment.
The ending songs for this episode are 行け!ゴッドマン (Ike! Godman), the theme from the live action SF show of the same name, done a cappella by Konata. Then they sing 負けないで (Makenaide) by ZARD, which may be a tribute to the lead singer Izumi Sakai, who sadly passed away a month ago. ZARD did some themes for anime shows like Detective Conan (Case Closed) and Dragon Ball GT, among others. Here is ZARD performing Makenaide from 1993.
