Yes but... I read the manga and actually she wasn't dead, because Naraku hadn't managed to kill her... and I'm quite sure that she will appear again in the anime, as well... when the series ends with episode 167 she's still "alive" and she even takes part in the 4th movie!
(Personally... I'd have preferred to know that Naraku had killed her >.<)

Oh man. What does it take to kill her? Not that I have anything against her persay, but she has to let go of the living world and accept death. She is dead anyway, after all. But maybe there's another meaning behind this. Maybe it's her inability to let go of the living world that prevents even Naraku from destroying her.

Which means the only way to get rid of her for good is for her to let go.

Yeah...that's probably it.

I was reading the online adaptation of the manga (no images, but it gets the job done), and I found out that Kagome saves Kikyo's life.

In other words...

KAGOME BROUGHT KIKYO BACK TO LIFE THE SECOND TIME! ARRRRRRRG!

I don't like Kikyo very much. I mean, she's ok, but I liked her better when she was dead. Now if Kagome wasn't there, I wouldn't have much of a problem with her. But I like Kagome much better.

...God I ramble a lot. -.-

Same here. Of course, part of what we have to remember is that this isn't really Kikyo. Only part of her personality remains, mainly rage and hatred. I'm kinda curious as to what she was like before. Don't get much from the few flashbacks we see. (Particularly since they're from Inuyasha's point of view, and he was infatuated.)

Oh, I can give you a quick summary.

Well, Inuyasha just couldn't believe Kikyo had died (again) and was really dazed while they were traveling. A man on a pilgrimage crosses paths with them and tells Inuyasha of an injured priestess on the other side of the mountain. Saying to himselg he couldn't go on without knowing if Kikyo was alive or dead, Inuyasha is given permission from Kagome to see about the priestess. Inuyasha apologizes and runs off.
While he's gone the rest of the group are captured in a town and brought to a palace (I think). The lady of the palace tells her guards to bring Kagome to her and kill the rest. While Sango and Miroku fight off the guards, Shippo goes to find Inuyasha.
Kagome is thrown into the lady's quarters to find the the lady of the palace has been possessed by Naraku's baby, and te baby want's Kagome's eyes. He achieves this by holding onto Kagome and searching her heart for darkness. At first he can fin none, then Kagome begins to think about Kikyo and how Inuyasha won't be saving her from this. That's her darkness, and the baby finds it and possesses her.

...not the best summary, but that's basically it.

Oh...I'm sorry! Since it was last weeks episode, I didn't think it would count as a spoiler. I'm sorry! I'll be better about that in the future. :(

I looked it up on Wikipedia and, if we can take the (third?) movie as canon, Inuyasha is 150 years old, 200 if you count the fifty years he spent stuck to a tree. Other than that there really isn't that much information.
And for a double post here... (a late quote double post to be specific.. I've been gone for awhile :P )
sorta spoiler..ish? wrote:On the 3rd movie, Inuyasha was born the day his father died, 200 years ago. So that would be correct, Im not sure if the 50 years on the tree count for his age or not

Because we all live in different places, different episodes are on TV so you could be telling someone about yesterdays episode that hasnt seen it yet. Im on ep 113 where I live, actually its on right about now... But thats why we have the spoiler courtesy just put
