Yes, it's still running. CLAMP lists Tsubasa, xxxHolic, Legal Drug, Clover, and X as their ongoing series. (Though Clover hasn't had a new installment since the magazine it was being carried in folded in 1999(?), and X and Legal Drug haven't had any new installments since Tsubasa and xxxHolic started.)
I just finished watching the first episode for the third time, this time from a different subber, and I have to say that the voices are growing on me. Once I got over what my mind through Shaoran and Sakura should sound like, I really started liking their new voices.
And I discovered why Touya sounds so familiar to me, even though he's not the original Touya. He's voiced by Shinichiro Miki, who's done major voices in seven other series that I've watched in the past month. No wonder I recognize that voice.
Speaking of recognizable voices, I didn't notice until this time through that Tomoyo's new voice is none other than Maya Sakamoto, who provides the ending song, as well.
I was also wrong in thinking that Sohma's voice was the original voice actress, though I maintain that Yuko Kaida does a good job with the two or three lines she has. (Also considering Yuriko Yamamoto, Sohma's original voice, apparently hasn't done any voice work since 1995.)
Yukito's new voice remains the only one that feels off to me. He seems too close to his CCS appearance and personality to have such a shift in voice, so it's taking me a lot more effort to hear "Yukito" in Kouki Miyata's performance instead of "Kouki Miyata imitating Megumi Ogata."
The music continues to be wonderful; this is a soundtrack I'm buying as soon as it becomes available.
I also continue to notice details that are wonderful little tributes to earlier CLAMP work, like Touya's sword (Zagato's from Rayearth), and Yukito's magic circle, which is almost identical to the one Sakura uses in the Clow Card arc of CCS, just with a moon in the center instead of a sun. It's these details that really make this series (both in manga and anime forms) so much more enjoyable. I'm truly looking forward to seeing the characters in the first world the gang is going to visit, which we'll definitely see next episode, according to the preview.

Since I'm so looking forward to new episodes of this, I went RAW again for episode 2, and I continue to love this series.
The departures from the manga are still fairly minor, and Yuko gets to be both the mysterious "I-Know-Everything" witch and the mischevious person she is at heart (for a couple seconds, at least) in the same episode, which had me snickering.
I always pictured the black Mokona as also having a red forehead jewel, instead of the blue he's been given in the series (and the CLAMP no Kiseki chess pieces), but oh well.
Fai seems to have lost a little bit of his roundness, now looking less like a circle and more like a face. It's like the roundness siphoned into Masayoshi, who's got one of the roundest faces I've ever seen, except for ones that are supposed to have circles for heads (like some of the gang members we also see in this episode).
Speaking of Masayoshi, given he's an anologue of San Yun (MKR), I wonder who's providing his voice, as it sounds fairly similar to our favorite servant of Princess Aska of Fahren.
Shogo's voice is excellent as well, though it's been so long since I've seen the X movie, I can't compare them.
I wish we had gotten to hear more of Watanuki's voice than him saying "Hai" twice. It would have been nice to hear what we'll be getting for the xxxHolic movie later this year.
The world-shift animation is beautiful, and reminds me of the transitions between worlds in Chrono Cross. The Hanshin Republic, in what little we've seen so far, looks far more brightly-colored than it did in the manga, IMO, but it seems to work quite well.
Next episode is definitely looking interesting, and the title "Hama no katana," (破魔のカタナ) which I think translates to "Sword that repels evil" has lots of possible connotations.
And finally, I love the flaming wolf. I just love it.

Yes, because they've reordered some things for the series. The encounter with Shogo happens immediately as they arrive in the world, so they haven't had the chance to meet Sorata and Arashi yet. We'll see if they show up next episode, when Shaoran and the gang are looking for a place to stay.

I have seen the first episode and am getting the second one now. I have no clue what is going to happen because I haven't read the manga but I will think I will read it after seeing the show since most shows change a lot from the mangas. I had to get used to the voices. For me Yukito's stood out the most. The rest didn't really phase me. I am loving the music a lot. It would be good buy. The main thing I will have to get used to is the fact that the characters are drawn so long and stringy. I'm used to the CCS counterparts. Granted they also could be long but it looks like they ate more. The style is reminding me of the Utena tv show. I guess I'll get used to that as well.

Anyone see episode 3?
In this episode, we do get to learn more about Kurogane.WOOT! Sorata and Arashi does appear in this episode, but we get no hand-puppet presentation
Though the room that Syaoran and the gang were sleeping suspiciously looks like Hideaki's room in Chobits.
There were a few things worth mentioning. They did do a flashback about the whole curse thing he had so that aspect wasn't lost. We obviously do get to see his Kudan in action which was kinda of sweet.
Hmm, can't tell what the next episode is going to be like though this episode was kind of slow. Not only we do get to see Touya and Yukito in the Hanshin region, but we also get to see Tomoyo as well which was kind of cool (though she was mostly a background character that Kurogane noticed). And the interestng thing that happened in the end is that Sakura WOKE UP!
