Thats because toradora is awsm and you just havn't realized it yet. It can take a bit for all the awsmness to actually sink in.

I'll agree the ending was kinda meh compared to the rest of the series though.

yea pretty much the sentiments I had with it also, I was kinda like "where the heck are they going with it now?" at around 22-23ish, then at the end i was like "eh, I'll settle for that I guess." and still chalked up the series as a whole as one of my favs of recent years.

Don't get me wrong.It was a good anime I enjoyed the comedy near the beginning but after a while I couldn't really see where it was going,so that kinda dropped it down a level.

As for the ending,when Ryuuji finished talking and the ending song started I was "WTF?This it?" Before I noticed that there's actually something behind it.I would have preferred it to end before the song though.Though there is one thing I particularly liked about the ending...

No mention of Ryuuji's OCD?? That's the coolest thing about this anime and something that I'd not seen in any anime before.

... youre such a guy.... Her 'guilt' isn't over anything at home her guilt is because she knows her best friend is in love with the same guy she is and that he actually wants to be with her and not Tiga (at first) She feels guilty because she knows (at first she is wrong, but then is proven right as the series progresses.. then again theres really not a defining moment of when Tiga started liking him) that the closer she gets to the boy she likes, the more shes hurting her friend in the process.

I'd like a spinoff like Akane Maniax just about Minorin (... and BASEBALL xD ;p)

Ya' know seeing Baka's rant about Clannad and Ushio in particular sort of reminds me of Aishiteru Ze Baby. I'm glad they didn't go down that path cuz I seen it already.

I also thought of My and Eva-fan's old fave, Boku wa Imoto ni Koi wo Suru (I'm In Love With My Little Sister), it was a shot in the dark for me, but if you also can't stand all these wussy male characters in HS romances you should pick this up if you can. Ryuuji makes half the turnaround this guy does and it's oh so satisfying.
