Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
It seems we won't watch a second season. No signs about it.
So I'm reading the manga now lol

Quoted for truth.Hagaren Viper wrote:This show would be more accurately titled Attack on Feelings.
As for no announcement of a Season 2 yet... They'd have to be crazy to NOT continue it, unless they plan on severely changing the plot from the manga (which I doubt. And no, I haven't read it.) but I'm willing to bet that it'll take a while. I'm cool with that. Giving the manga a little more time to get further ahead means less/no filler in the anime and more time should hopefully mean they can keep up the gorgeous production values.
Not that any of that logic will keep us from going a little crazy without new episodes every week...

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
they have enough material to do a second season but would be cutting it close. the manga releases monthly so any further than that and they would catch up really quickly.
and, there have been a number of series that have just cut off half way with no conclusive ending, unfortunately a lot of those are based off of light novels which have not been translated yet which drives me nuts.

Well, Japan cancelled awesome shounens before, like Slam Dunk,
Hunter X Hunter (1999) or Rurouni Kenshin....won't be a surprise
but I woul really, REALLY love to watch a second season.
I'm in chapter 44 of the manga and I can say that Female Titan
arc is NOTHING compared to what comes next. The studio MUST
propose a second season, it'll be crazy to not animate it. WE should
wait until Saturday, maybe we'll get the surprise at the end of
episode 25... hope so.
That was my opinion and here's a shark

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
I'd think that a season 2 announcement would be made half a year after possibly and aired a year or so later.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
The series seems to be doing VERY well so Id be very surprised if we didn't see it again. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, but hey.
As for the finale, loved it! Not much was wrapped up or answered, but considering the manga is ongoing that really can't be helped. The fight scene couldn't have been any better though, gorgeously animated. All things I really couldn't ask for more. Can't wait for the dub down the road, I enjoyed this show a heckuva lot. 10/10

Season 1 uses around 33 chapters of 49. I'd expect it to be a few years at least.Jasta85 wrote:they have enough material to do a second season but would be cutting it close.
