Ok... in episode 6 Sesshoumaru is looking for his father's grave and thinks Inuyasha knows where it is... so sends a demon who looks like Inuyasha's mother to him to find out what he wants to know (he's so interested in his father's grave because he knows Tessaiga is hidden there) and eventually finds that in Inuyasha's right eye there's a black pearl which represents the "door" to reach the grave... then Sesshoumaru manages to take the pearl out of his brother's eye and opens a gate that leads to the grave... and then follows that great fight in which Sesshoumaru loses his left arm, cut by Tessaiga.
Have I been clear?

ps. has anyone whos ever seen that episode ever stopped to think: OW man my eye. Like Im serious, Sesshy just reached in there, demon nails and all and pulled out a pearl?! from his EYE!? ow! and the fact that, i think it was myoga actually that put it in there because of his father's final wishes, Inuyasha didnt notice a pearl about dime sized in or behind his eye! And then it took 50 years for Sesshomaru to figure out the riddle.. but ow.

But in the series Myoga didn't know where the grave was. He had been guarding a spot, but it turned out to not be the right grave. Yet another problem I have with the third movie (which was still cool, just not in sinc with the series).

In answer to the question, though, yeah, I had thought about that. Demon physiology is a very curious subject. :?

isn't that pearl suppose to be his pupil?
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

:x :x :x
I NEVER SAID IT WAS A JEWEL SHARD INSTEAD OF THE BLACK PEAL!!
I AM FULLY AWARE OF THE PEAL AT ALL TIMES,I HAVE COMMON SENSE TOO YA'KNOW!!!!

I'm saying(once again, not completely positive)that the shard was IN the black pearl. And that they all went to battle Naraku in the their father's grave because that's where the last jewel shard was. In which made me think that since the grave was in the pearl,a jewel shard was in the grave, and the black pearl was in the pupil of InuYasha's eye. Therefore made me believe that he had a jewel shard inside of him.

Also, off subject, from now on InuYasha will only be on Tuesday night,127-Don't Boil it! Terror of the dried up youkai!,is the next ep coming on. then,128-Battle against the dried up youkai!,is the week after.

I mostly like Bigid's theory on the sap of the tree got in his chest. 'Cause I was thinking about when he was pinned to tree that the tree was magical and was alive, and that some spell might have been automaticaly cast by it into InuYasha, thus allowing him, following what Brigid said,to pass through the well. You are very smart,Brigid.

Aw shucks, thank you.

I think we were all just a little confused since you didn't specify that the shard was in the pearl. And, actually, the pearl is more of a gate than the actual grave. At least that's the impression I've gotten.

After looking at episode 6 again I see that the pearl is actually a portal to the grave, which makes you wonder......where is his father's grave if thats just a portal. :? Or,it could be in another dimension and it's the only way there. :?: :?: :?: I'm suddenly confusing myself. Someone please help me!

I'm quite sure that the grave is in the afterlife... I read that somewhere in the manga and I think it will be shown in the anime, as well... around episode 155.

I hope they start up repeats on Saturday -- make it an [as] Saturday staple like Cowboy Bebop and FLCL have been time and again.

I'd stay up until 1am or so on Saturdays to watch repeats of InuYasha. I still have a good chunk of the third and fourth seasons I haven't seen yet. :?
