..."Light" is fun to say, but I almost would prefer naming him (or keeping his name) "Hikari"

"Raito" is how they say it, "Light" is how the author wanted the translation to be made.

"Hikari" means "Light" it's japanese

But Light's kanji for his name is Tsuki, which means "Moon".

I think Hikari is Japanese for Light........and that maybe the for moon was just a weird way of spelling it.......
