Not to be a grammer nazi, but the character you play's last name is Kururugi.. You can either play Kaname or the guy *has never played the guy so doesn't know his name*GloryQuestor wrote:That's not entirely true. The only time it seems anything like a dating sim is when you have the hangout events, which, if you hang out with the opposite gender than your character, then something does happen which makes it seem like your character likes the other a lil more than he/she should, but it only happens then..and that's 1 time.
In dating sims, your goal is to go on a date with so-n-so, but the goal of this game is to stop Naraku, find out who the new person on Naraku's side is, and defeat them...
For the battle system, the closer your character (Kuturugi) is with one of the other characters through the relationship events, the more combo moves with that character are unlocked.
For the story ... well, you'll have to find that out, but suffice it to say that your relationship with a character does have an influence.
Actually, i never noticed that. When i started out, i hung out with Sango the entire time, having a feeling that something would come of hanging out with only one single person. And i was correct, but it never influenced my double attacks. I gained all of InuYasha's doubles with Kaname before i got the 2nd one with Sango, yet i was hanging out with her the entire time...
My sis played and hung out with Kagome the whole time and got all of Sango's doubles with Kaname before i did.. o_o
Yeah, it does have an influence, but not too much...
