I just finished watching this episode. It seems like there is a lot of stuff that happend in the other shows that I am not getting. I'll guess I'll pick it up later. This ep had too many still like shots of watching people as they sleep. Hopefully that won't happen anymore. Where are Sy(h)aoran's companions from? I haven't seen those anime if they come from different shows. I want to get some background info.

Kurogane and Fai are new characters ^_^

Most of the characters met from other Clamp universes that I've noticed so far, are allusions to Magic Knight Rayearth, Cardcaptor Sakura, X and Chobits.

Okay. I noticed the X, Chobits and CCS characters but I haven't seen any other CLAMP works so I wasn't sure who was making a cameo or was original. Thanks for the clear up.

It's a safe bet that's the official website for the xxxHolic movie, but is there going also to be a Tsubasa movie as well? Someone who's good at Japanese translate it for us. All I got is that the xxxHolic movie will premiere in August.

Waugh... That poster looks EXCELLENT. I kicked around the website, and I didn't get much more than Angel did, except that tickets for the movie start going on sale April 29th, and there's a list of theaters that will be playing the movie. The Tsubasa side of the site isn't open, but I think it will be the official site for the TV series.

I finally got the time to sit down and watch episode 3, and I have to say I like it. The departures are a little bit more substantial now, but they're still being true to the spirit of the manga. And Kurogane's Kudan utterly rocks, as does he, of course.

The new voices continue to be either excellent or jarring, though with another watching or two I'll be more used to them.

Sorata's in particular feels very off, and seems quite a bit too nasal for the character, but that's possibly just me. Arashi's voice seems spot-on, however, which is odd, considering the last role I heard her voice actress in was Yukari-sensei in Azumanga. Arashi also looks eerily like Yuuko, for some reason, which opens up whole realms of future speculation to me (who's the Yuuko-equivalent in the various worlds the crew is going to visit?).

One last note, I *LOVE* the insert song in this episode. I wonder if Sakamoto Maaya or Yui Makino sang it.

I, as always, am eagerly awaiting the next episode.
