What a train wreck. Bones made a great show with a great style, wonderful characters, and one of the best episodic styles I have ever seen. Then they decided to make a sequel with a bullshit confusing plot, Mary Sues everywhere, and destroyed everything that was great about the first season. Fuck.

^ I disagree. Season 1 was shit because it followed an episodic structure which didn't work as the pacing suffered dramatically, particularly towards the end. In season 2 there is a sense of linear progression so I'm able to enjoy the characters and story more. Hell there is more in terms of character in S2 than 1.

Darker than Black S2 OVA 4 - Last episode. They finally reveal the purpose of the syndicate and what happened to Yin right before the start and why Hei went emo. I'm not sure who Yin was talking to at the end, Izanagi? But I thought Izanami was inside her. I think if I rewatch S2 now it'll make sense.

Ah, finally finished Season 1 this show.
A lot of information was crammed into the second last episode (technically the last episode) so I had to rewatch it to figure out what the crap happened. o_e
However, after realizing what did go on, I was quite satisfied with the ending! 8/10 overall, in my books.
One of these days I'm going to check out Season 2, as well.
