Re: Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
Revival time! I've started watching this and I just finished episodes 4 and 5 (@_@ holy shit)
I'm not quite sure I understand the way the "question arcs" are being told. Are these completely separate timelines, or a retelling from a different perspective? (Or would it be a spoiler if you told me?)
Anyway, I've kept myself in the dark about spoilers, so it's speculation time!
At first I was thinking Rena and Mion were just schizophrenic 'cause of the personallity shifts, but now something's up with the other girls. What with the way the townspeople people are following Shion is making me think that perhaps the whole town is some sort of cult, and that each year at the festival, someone is chosen to be the "new" Oyashiro.
And props to keiichi for acting somewhat like a real human being would in such a screwed up situation.
Also, in none of the arcs, do I predict a good end for keiichi. ;_;

All I can say is just keep watching, you will understand everything that is going on in time.
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.

You gotta remember, whenever rika switches dimensions, or time travels, or whatever, little things change. This time there are a lot of big changes. Does this mean things will go well? I'm betting: not.LivingFlame wrote:Spoiler :

Not quite as freaky as the first season, but we got suspense and the feeling that something bad's gonna go down soon at least. (and if I've been properly spoiled, it will)guy07 wrote:woah .. shit's getting freaky.
