So, just to make sure I'm straight; Sasuke is going to destroy the leaf to avenge his brother's death, right?

Or is he going to destroy them for the utter destruction of his own clan?

Because it was the leaf who ordered Itachi to destroy his clan, which in turn caused his own death.

I really do want that guy to die, Danzo.... and that old lady he hangs out with, they look like those Chinese emperors that're more trash than anything else

Sasuke hasn't used his new eyes against him yet though. Its inevitable that the fight will drag a bit before they reveal his new power and win.

I"m guessing Sasuke is curious to see what powers the guy has from his bishou; otherwise he'd have already killed him. Though I do have a few arguments as to Sasuke's willingness to use his new sharingan, as it is mangekyou, and he doesn't want to go blind.

Is Sasuke's new set of eyes the EM like Madarra's?

If so, my first thought is probably the deal, as he also has seen Naruto's abilities. Perhaps a study for the final fight with Naruto?

Sasuke has only faced two of the tailed beasts, so he might be collecting intel on their limits.

No the Eagle eyes looks like it surpasses even that. Unless its just another variation which works differently like Kakashi's.

I think you overlook something. Sasuke has faught against this 8-tails with normal eyes first and then suddenly gets to his sharingan the moment he seems to lose. My guess is that he has already a genjuitsu on the other guy...
