personal assessment:
Lulu: eh...I like Johnny, but I don't think his voice quite suits lulu. Liked his voice at the end though
suzaku:
viletta:
Lloyd: definately different, it'l be interesting how he pulls it off later on but so far
Kallen: eh, might get better but I'm not too crazy on it right now
Deithard:
others: not important enough or not enough context to decide
also...bad adult swim. How dare they cut ALI PROJECT short for commercials?

Watched the entire series recently.
God, this really IS the realization of a "cool list" that the producers came up with, isn't it?
I feel horrible for it sometimes, but I genuinely did enjoy the series. For all its plot holes, inconsistencies, and absolutely horrendous use of cheap plot devices (I mean gebus, seems like half the characters are just there so Lelouch can kill them and create an ethical dilemma for us - I even thought Suzaku was a total tool for half the series. I later changed my mind about it, but now I'm leaning to changing it back...) - this was FUCKING GOOD ENTERTAINMENT. It's as good and bad for you at the same time as the Pizza Hut it so shamelessly productplaces.
Good job Sunrise. After either disappointments with their mecha-oriented steeds (like every Gundam series in many, many years) or good series that would obviously never be a commercial hit for them (Planetes), they finally produce a series that deserves its hit status - even if it gains it through means that are a shameless exploitation of today's "anime chic".

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
