Oh, I may warn you. Tsukihime is not really as action-packed as Fate/stay night (and not to mention, it's not a very good adaptation to the original PC game; well, except for the ending ). It does focus more on character interactions in relation to the creepy mysteries and atmosphere. The payoff is good especially if you like Shiki and Arcueid and a few other characters. It's just that there's SO much more in the Tsukihime universe than what the anime portrayed it as (and not to mention lots more plots and lots more characters).
It's still my favorite series, and I do encourage you to check it out (now since Geneon released all the DVDs).

Oh yeah episode 12, baby!!!
Before the awesome second round battle between Saber and Rider started, there was a very cute moment between Saber and Shirou on the park bench. Now as for the battle...

Next episode!!!...even though Rider is weaker in offense than Saber, the battleground brought Saber into a very disadvantage point. That point is the rooftop. Even worse, Rider summoned her white winged horse (which I'm guessing it's Pegasus) of which she just flew around and striking Saber at her blind spots. And then once Shirou makes it to the rooftop, Shinji taunts the both of them and ordered Rider to destroy Saber immediately. Rider then unleashed her Nobel Phantasm called Bellerophon. Saber then decided to counter it with own which involved revealing her sword. And behold, the sword is Excaliber which I believe it's proof enough that Saber's True Name is King Arthur. Saber was indeed the victor; Rider is gone, and Shinji's command spells are destroyed.

This is an excellent anime. It's story and characters create an emotional and enjoyable combination of hope and friendship.
The story is compelling, not just pleasurable. The combination of present conditions mixed with past myths and allusions to epic struggles, wishes and wants drives a desire for understanding and an interest in the tales of the past. Myself, I've never known the story of Lancer and his relation to the realm of heros. I can only say, I was very surprised when I did find out. European lore sure has lot of legends to offer.
Beyond their appealing appearances, I like how this anime is unfolding the complexity of its characters. Shirou, Rin, Saber, etc. all their stories thus far has provided a lot of information about their motives and motivation.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of this series.
