I also started watching the series(finished ep4 now) and I believe it goes one step beyond Gundam Seed.It becomes more serious and insists more on political games and agreements than action itself.Imo,it's pretty interesting but I'm gonna watch it in a slow pace.

Anyway,Seed is still tha best...

While Seed certainly had some uber cute girls(Lacus) and what's probably the most overpowered mech ever made(Strike Freedom) it's still not the bet imo.

It depends on how many gundam series you have seen.For me,Seed was the most enjoyable out of those I've seen so far.Nice plot,lovable characters,cool fights and gundams and quite a lot of sad moments(and deaths) which really get stuck in our head for much more than happy moments.
Gundam 08MS Team was far more realistic on the other side.And I was quite fond of its ending.Too bad it was only 12 episodes long.
Gundam Wing - I couldn't watch any past episode 5.Just 4 guys blowing up everything,everywhere without a cause.If something could make me sit and watch it in its entirety would be the possible "relationship" between the girl and the main male lead.But nah,they both seemed annoying...

Gundam 0083 Stardust memory - a really wtf ending for a mediocre series overall.

And we come to Gundam 00.I'm at episode 14 so far and it's becoming quickly one of my favorites(and from what I heard,it's becoming even more interesting later).It's way more serious and tries to give a taste of reality.Like the 3 power blocs,the places of war and of course the solar energy solution which comes due to the exhaustion of petroleum...A lot of cast too and it's getting bigger.I really hope it continues this way.But hey,as a mecha fan,I want cooler battles...

Anyway,enough talk.Time to sleep now...

Wow,ep18 was superb.Those Thrones really deserve a good beating and Nena even more.Hope Setsuna can kick their asses a bit....too bad it won't happen

But lol,the director had gone a bit overboard with Louise.I never expected to see this type of scene to this series...
I'm getting terribly hooked on this show...Can't wait for the next episode now
