ZOMG, stop fucking dissing the ending JUST because it made no sense. T_T Be thankful that there was at least an ending.

I saw the ending, it was okay. Had lots of plot holes and seemed to love complicating things a lot more than making sense of them. Regardless, it still wrapped everything up nice and neat, albeit a bit weird 'cause, hell, with THOSE two and given their love for each other, any kind of ending that doesn't have them together will leave them searching to be together.

So rawr. I'm sick of seeing people go OMFG ENDING SUXXORS! Suck it up.

Actually, he'd shown he could fight before then as well during the hostage situation on the train to central...he's clearly no slouch when it comes to his knives

Part of the reason he tends to keep off to the side when it comes to a lot of the fighting is, as he sarcastically reminds Roy when they're chasing Scar, he doesn't have alchemy as an option to defend himself (true, Riza was up front, but that's also because she's vowed to defend Roy even at the cost of her own life...even from the beginnings, Hughes told Roy he'd be supporting him from behind the scenes...)

Besides, while he's good with a blade, let's face it, being in the know is easily Hughes's real strength...knowledge is power and, in that department, he's prettymuch the ruler.

Yeah, true. I mean, he was the leader of the investigations unit for the Eastern Headquarters. He's also obviously got a keen eye for detail, as proven when he realized the person that was talking to him by the booth wasn't Maria Ross because of the missing birthmark under her eye. He definately was one of their smarter members even though he acted goofy alot, too..

Yes please stop complainging about the ending. It was good enough to make the Elric brothers happy thats all. If you want to complaina bout an ending, complain about the samurai champloo ending.
