I only have a few DVD's...making amv's is hard with little footage but I manage =] anyway. I'm planning to get the box set. The english version is alright. It's not so bad..but it's rele lame when it's edited.
I wonder if they still have the show on Cartoon Network I don't watch that channel much anymore.
(btwYou bring up a good point there Brigid)

They're not airing it at the moment which is kinda a bummer since I watched practically the whole series except for the end when they beat Sensui. I was so pissed that I missed it. *smashes recorder*dragonrose44 wrote:I only have a few DVD's...making amv's is hard with little footage but I manage =] anyway. I'm planning to get the box set. I want to get the DVDs too. (For one thing, I only have one anime DVD to my name, which really makes AMV creation difficult.)
Of course, I kinda have to have money first.
Ah well, there's always the library in the mean time. It doesn't have YYH, but I can order it through interlibrary loan. Takes forever, though.

Start requesting items through interlibrary loan. See if you can get some of your local friends and family to do the same. If they take any notice of what people are requesting they might start buying the books and DVDs.

Sweet. The libraries I've known have *never* had any manga at all when they have a book sale. And the new price in stores is so expensive.
I want to read volume eight, but my library doesn't have the series. (ILL can take sooo long.)

In where I live, there's a place called Sunnybank and in that place there's a store that sells japanese stuff (stuff animals, clocks, stationary, etc). And, at the back, they have a whole pile of manga for members to borrow. Yes, they stock the whole series of YYH. You're going to say, "but the whole series isn't out yet." Right? Well, that's because it's true, the only reason that this store has the whole collection (up to 50 volumes long, I believe) is because they're in Chinese and they get it straight from overseas.
