She's not dead ( i think) here's my proof when ever someone dies in naruto they have this long drawn out battle before they kick the bucket Ex: Asuma, Jiraiya, etc. They wouldn't kill someone off in just 3 pages. Besides if she's dead who else is there to snap him out of his 6 tailed form?
How can you prove that anything besides yourself even exists? you can't.

Spoiler :
With all the recent deaths in the story, I have come to wonder just what they all mean. Killing off characters like Kakashi and Hinata makes really no sense at all. Except of course to plow Naruto into a rage he's never reached before.

I think that this is all leading to something much more fine than Pain getting the Ninetails out of Naruto.

The Fifth, Tsunade, is known for her amazing medical jutsu skill and knowledge, as well as her powerful ninjutsu and monstrous physical strength.

The Fourth, Minato Namikaze, was known as the Yellow Flash. Because he could teleport using specially-made kunai he designed himself.

The third, Sarutobi, was master of all the jutsu in the leaf village. (Even being called "The Professor")

The second was known for his awesome ability to pull water from the air to do water-style jutsu.

The First, *name slips my mind*, was known for his establishing the leaf, for his mastery of ninjutsu and the ninja-way, for his calling the treaty between the Senju and the Uchiha, and for defeating Uchiha Madara in the Valley of the End.
But all of his achievements pale in comparison to his one particular ninjutsu. His sole ability that noone else could do. (With the exception of Yamato that had his dna)

Giving life to plants using chakra.

I believe that Naruto will find a way to change his demonic soul[the ninetails] into a life source by mixing it with his own chakra and forcing it into the air around him. Perhaps it will be a reversed technique of the Death-god summoning Jutsu his father created. Or a combination of the First and Yamato's abilities.

He will be forever known as the ninja-legend who reestablished the ninja world into a time of peace; as well as
being the only ninja to snatch someone from the jaws of DEATH.

/end of Naruto.

Hahahaha, thats actually a good one... although u have some good points there such as the 'legend' part i doubt it will end quite soon enough and i bet he will maybe control the ninetails

That's probably the whole point of this battle. Kishi is veering the focus from Tobi and Sasuke to try and get more face-time for ol' Naruto.
