O__o I loved both the anime and the manga. I liked how it took a different turn from the manga and made a story of it's own. It's interesting to compare the anime writer's ideas to where the manga is now ( like, for instance, Lust lighten's up alot in the anime and becomes alot nice, while in the manga, she's still a complete b****. )Cornwiggle wrote:Super Shanko wrote:yeah, but im glad it made itself different from the manga to make it different.
I'm not because the anime gets really crappy. What good is difference when one of them sucks?

ur right...i'll ask my BF to talk to the producers...he works for anime the company and so he can talk to most of the main anime people...i will ask to him to send Michiru oshima a letter about that...yeah so yeah..it should be a charm or something bigger..also the watches don't have the unstable philosephers stone in them other wise ed wouldn't need to go through all the trouble finding the wearabouts of the stone and it's materials...lol yeah. so it's not in the watch.

I'm pretty sure all of the state alchemist's watches contained small amounts of red stones, what else would of amplified the alchemist's alchemic powers? Also the series never told us if there were red stones in the watches, Winry never opened Ed's watch and Archer ordered the full (don't know if that was his exact words said) alchemic tune up for Ed's watch. Anyways, Ed never knew if there was any red stones in his watch until ep 40 somthing.Bleach_lover wrote:ur right...i'll ask my BF to talk to the producers...he works for anime the company and so he can talk to most of the main anime people...i will ask to him to send Michiru oshima a letter about that...yeah so yeah..it should be a charm or something bigger..also the watches don't have the unstable philosephers stone in them other wise ed wouldn't need to go through all the trouble finding the wearabouts of the stone and it's materials...lol yeah. so it's not in the watch.
Also, I don't think Ed and Al were really wondering around looking the stone after learning about the "ingredients" of the stone, after that it becomes more about the Homunculus, rather than the actual stone itself.

There were NOT red stones in the watches, the watches did not amplify any alchemic abilities at all. Did you not watch episode 2? The watch is just to show you're a State Alchemist...that's all.

I don't focus on the anime, I focus on the manga. In the manga, they were just status symbols.Super Shanko wrote:yeah, but when Ed was explaining the watch to Winry, he said there were amplifiers in it. and if you saw episode 41, well, who knows, maybe they were Jolly Ranchers in it like the kind Envy gave to Wrath.
I dislike the anime and it's later "terminology"
