Ok, ok, I just thought of another thing: In the case that he's not using his sharingan to teleport, what if it's something similar to the Fourth's jutsu with the kunai? I'm not sure what he'd use as a back-trace to bring himself from one place to another, but it's possible he's using a mix of his sharingan's illusionary techniques and what he learned from the fourth's teleportation.
