Why do I get a feeling that the site is gonna have a new design and the Haruhi auditions are going to be started? Less than 30 minutes to go until we find out.

Argh, these VA choices are pretty good!

I think I need to sleep on this one for a bit; I'm having a hard time choosing the right one. Though I'm leaning on #1 who I know it's Kari Wahlgren.

I agree, #1 is probably closest. Not by voice as such, but the correct amount of... spunkiness is there. I also like #4, maybe even better by voice, but she doesn't hit on all the expressionisms as well, which could get problematic at some points.

I guess it's Kari Wahlgren then

Uhuh, I'm voting the same way based on that factor... All of them don't sit quiet well enough in my opinion, but I think #1 would be better suited to the character, even if it might be meandering a little from the acceptable.

I can pretty much concur with the guesses posted elsewhere so far for the Haruhi voice actresses:

Kari Wahlgren
Kate Higgins
Michelle Ruff
Stephanie Sheh
Wendee Lee

I'd have to go with the actress I had a feeling could do a good Haruhi since the speculation started: #1 Kari Wahlgren. Overall, she had the best interpretation of the character. #3 (Michelle Ruff) did a good job, but didn't deliver the "No. Such a thing is just unnatural." line how I felt it should be done. Same for #2 (Kate Higgins). #4 (Stephanie Sheh) was good, but she needed a bit more energy, although I liked her "No. Such a thing is just unnatural." delivery. #5 (Wendee Lee) had the most enthusiastic performance (maybe a bit too enthusiastic), but she sounded a bit too old at times and I didn't like the last "mysterious transfer student" bit.

Plus, Stephanie Sheh is Mikuru and Michelle Ruff is Yuki.

I wonder if we'll hear auditions for the other characters or at least voice clips for some of them. I'm curious as to who will voice Tsuruya-san and how they will translate her unusual speech pattern.
