Come to think of it, yeah, what did he do with those birds? I mean, there wasn't any indication that he could do alchemy when he was talking to Wrath. Wierd.

Rose is in the movie in a short shot of Eds hometown with a bunch of kids I think.

Yeah rose is in the movie. Actually a few times. In the underground city she's with winry as well.

Also I"m somewhat led to believe that the birds were actually made up of parts of the homunculi.

yeah, in the movie(guessing from studying the previews)

the movie takes place afew years after the end anime, so thus the love child would be a small child

Yeah...definately not a love child...though I still don't remember seeing Rose in the movie...saw the gypsy girl that looked like rose though.

Well there was both. The gypsy kind of lost it in the movie. It also seemed like rose had gotten past the child incident as well in the movie. But rose was definately in the movie.

And about the Homunculus and alchemy, its obvious they can do alchemy on themselves, while Gluttony is simply based off the manga, which is why it was important to devour the stone than simply have Dante use it(the reason im talking about this so late is because my internet was out for 2weeks and just now on it)

In the series envy is the son honenhiem but I also believe it was dante's son as well. It was their first child I'm lead to believe that ended up dieing(obviously).
