Re: Kimi ni Todoke
I think Ryu is my fav character. He's probably the only one not acting like he's 10. So is the next episode the last one? I'm assuming so ...

Somebody had better punch Kurumi soon. Otherwise, episode 12 was good. I'm liking Ryu a lot as well, and I'd love to see Chizu and him get together. It's kind of nice when the plot strays its focus a little bit away from the main couple (or soon to be, anyways) to another coupling.

Re: Kimi ni Todoke
I just watched this series up through episode 12 in the last few days. The original description of the show didn't interest me, but a lot of people said it was really good so I tried it out. I really like this show, and now that I'm caught up, I'm so mad that I have to wait for the next episode!
I want to strangle Kurumi...though I admit that I was really suspicious when she started being super nice to Sawako all of a sudden and putting their friendship in fast-forward. I'm really rooting for Sawako

I watched up to episode 12 in the last few days as well. I only decided to watch it because I was super bored and I already knew what it was all about, because I've been keeping up with the manga. It was fun to watch, despite knowing everything that was gunna happen. I like how they stick very close to the manga.
I kinda laughed a little when I heard Renton's voice actress voicing Chizu. Pretty cool.
But yeh, pretty good so far. Considering they are ending it in 24/26 eps, I'm not too sure where they plan on stopping. It'll probably be one of those anime that cut short and the manga continues, like Ouran and such.
Oh well, I'll keep watching.

Episode 14 was pretty good: I absolutely loved Pin's part. xD The ending was sad, but still not tear-jerking for me. -_-"
Looks like episode 15 will be a flashback episode, too. :'D

Re: Kimi ni Todoke
I read the manga up through volume 7 and I'm really impressed with how closely it follows the manga. So much so that I keep looking for sections in the anime for videos that only happened in the manga so far...
