Why doesn't he keep an eye on her??? Or "adopt" her as a younger sister.......he'd be a "brother" to her even if he IS her brother........if that makes sense^^;

I think he considers himself a bad influence, so he keeps an eye on her from a distance. He just doesn't want her to hang around him because he's dangerous.

I agree with Brigid. Hiei is very protective of Yukina although he keeps his distance. If he'd ever let nething bad happen to her, he'd raise hell o_O Also the fact that how many demons are out to kill him, it wouldn't be safe for Yukina to follow him around. Then they'd just use her as his weakness n who knows what'll happen

Not to mention that he doesn't want to *have* a weakness, and admitting not only that he has a sister but one he cares about would put a serious dent in his bad-boy image. (Good grief, he even tried to pass off destroying Chapter Black as an 'accident'.)

Yeah, that is SO Hiei...him and his bad-boy reputation......*sigh*.....oh well, at least he knows he found her.....that should be a little less depressing for him ^^;

Well, he does have an image to maintain.

Even if he does find things to be happy about, other than beating the &*@% out of bad guys, I doubt he'd let anyone notice.

But most of the time, when he thinks that no one notices, it's usually Kurama that knows what's really going through his mind. It's like he can tell what's really bothering the little fire demon. And it sure bugs the hell out of Hiei when Kurama knows what he's going to do ^^;
