I have no idea how many series I know. I have a top 10 and there is at least 30 different animes that I've seen. I can't list them all so....yeah. By the way. It's not about western peoples thinking Otaku is cool. Fact is alot of people in Canada think anime is stupid for various reasons. I just happen to have a serious passion for anime and I just want to be otaku.

Holy frickin cliffhanger. S2. NAO
And in terms of the otaku spirit, doesn't really matter how much you watch or how much stuff you have or whatever, just enjoy it and don't be an idiot about it :p
Then prepare to be loathed by about 98% of the population. They really don't like foreigners very much, and if you insist on labeling yourself as an otaku, then they'll like you even less.hasteroth wrote:But I plan on moving to Japan after I graduate...OropherZero wrote:watching anime != otaku, there is so much more involved -_- western ppl should just give up rly unless you plan to import thousands of dollars worth of stuff from japan

But that's what.... I'm seriously confused..... I know they don't care much for Otakus out there. Manga is pretty much the Japanese equivalent of American Comics, in more ways than just the comic part. But I am utterly fascinated by Japanese culture. Some parts are weird and a few are downright bizzarre but I still like Japan. Ok I'm getting a little off topic here so back to....whatever the hell this thread is about.ZephyrStar wrote:Holy frickin cliffhanger. S2. NAO

Well, the series ended on a lighthearted note.
Still waiting for episode 7, though.
My curiosity is killing me what sort of content that episode had so that they had to skip it. I guess they made it knowing it would be skipped since there aren't any major holes in the plot, if you can understand the GitS-class confusing dialogue.
My guess is that it involves a brothel.
