I have to say x3
Clannad's characters are more likable, but Kanon by far had a better storyline, even if it was mostly people remembering stuff they had forgotten.
I will forever love Clannad more because of Fuko. No one in Kanon can touch her.

Im still hoping for the best for Episode 22. Don't give up hope, guys.

You know you guys are getting so worked up on the lack of melodrama for no good reason.

First of all, it's extremely foolish to make Key's Kanon like a benchmark. For the most part, Clannad was never meant for a tearjerker fest. It supposed to be a slice-of-life series that emphasize the importance of family and community which this demonstrated so many times.

KyoAni changed the story quite a bit though and I'm not sure how the robot and the girl substitutes for the mannequin in the movie. I'm guessing the movie follows the game more closely.

It's the other way around. The girl and the robot was in the game, and KyoAni adapted that. It's the movie that decided to use mannequins. C'mon, I thought you would have gotten the fact KyoAni makes true adaptations, and if they're going to makes changes they'll usually contact the original creator.
