Gah, nonono. That dude who was all, like, a prisoner. The Exploding Alchemist or whatnot, since he was an alchemist in the Ishban wars and, like, killed his entire garrison or whatnot.

Kimbley the Crimson Alchemist? He's not a homonculus. Just an alchemist. . . a normal human (physically, at least. :-\)

he's a bit twisted, he was locked up for killing his fellow soldiers by turning them into bombs, i think he's the one that killed Scar's brother.

Hence why I thought that maybe that was what was meant by "Exploding Alchemist", although his title is the "Crimson Alchemist"

Huh. Why would they call him the Crimson Alchemist instead of Exploding Alchemist? That doesn't make any sense to me....

Probably because Crimson Alchemist sounds better than Exploding. Or maybe the crimson color has some association to bombs. Or the color represents how he is willing to kill his comrades just to hear the sounds of the explosions. I don't know, I'm just speculating here.

Maybe they didn't name him the Exploding Alchemist because he didn't blow people's heads up before he got his certification? Seriously. They receive their names when they pass the alchemy test. Now, if he had been exploding people's heads, do you really think he would have passed? No. Obviously, he became an alchemist and then started making people explode- after he had received the name of Crimson Alchemist, for whatever reason he got that name.
