I guess we needed some comic relief somewhere. I must say...it's about damn time that Sakura got her feather back without the boys help. It makes her actually necessary for the journey. I don't know how she is in the manga but at least she isn't worthless...minus the whole gambling thing that we don't see often. I want to see how this one turns out.
Have you ever noticed that in the opening credits that a siloette of Sy(h)aoran is there before Sakura comes in and curls up? I just saw that and I was like "whoa I never saw that before."

Episode 15 marks the end of the Jade arc. The producers did a pretty good job adapting from the manga.
I also found some more intriguing news. First according to the official website, the XXXHolic and Tsubasa movie double premiere will start in August 20.
Second, according to this blogger, the Tsubasa TV series is planned for 3 seasons so you guys don't have to worry about Bee Train squeezing in everything in 26 episodes.
Considering the whole Jade arc seriously lacked action scenes, it seems the next episode is going to be the payoff.Though in the anime version, the gang didn't make use of the fish scale they obtained in that "filler arc" episode.

I figured it wouldn't end now but damn it I have to wait until 2007 for this to end. Such a long break in between seasons. Man that is killer. I would start reading the manga but it looks like that won't finish for awhile either. DOH! At least this will kill some of my time granted the show doesn't get licensed soon.

Episode 16 was a filler, and I thought it was kind of dry (thus the reason I didn't talk about that much).
Now episode 17 was fairly more interesting with that whole Oni Slayer plot, and

There's a surprising amount of comedic gags in this episode as well. Not mention that Sakura is wearing that cute maid outfit!Syaoran's rather weird condition with his right eye. And they ended the episode with the first encounter with Yuzuriha and Kusanagi from X/1999; woot!

Alright I finished watching it finally. One question though
Is he blinded in that eye? That's what I was getting from all of that but I am not sure. I guess they will tell more about it later.
I really want to see the next episode because it looks like we could get a few more SxS moments.
Oh yeah...viva the X characters. I would like to see Karen though.
