Wow, episode 24 introduced one extremely important element that may explain a lot of the bizzareness.....

...and that's a parasite is involved, and that whole Oyashiro-curse is mearly a fanatical thing to use as an excuse.

That preview clip for episode 25 had made me curious though. I hope it doesn't happen!

The preview shows something really misleading. Then again, watching the episode still made little sense to he that knows little japanese. From what I see, it seems that the preview went back to episode 4. Almost like it flashbacked. Strange thing is, did that really happen. Since it's technically a different storyline..

That very event completely threw me off.

Something supernatural is involved with Rika really becoming a key player.

Rena becoming psychotic was like pure sex for me.

Though I really liked the touching moments. Maybe this chapter will have a "different" ending!

FINAL EPISODE!!!

Ahhh, the infamous "Heaven or Hell" duel match between Rena and Keiichi. Though one thing is different about this ending of this chapter than Rena realized her own mistakes. Oh if anyone didn't get the ending scene, the world "resetted".

Hmmm, Rena as a terrorist? Ummm, kinky?

Final Thoughts:
This is defientely one of the better horror, mystery series and would have been a masterpiece if the art and animation from Studio DEEN didn't suck ass at certain critical moments. Of course this isn't a very easy series to get into due to its complexity, and if you still have more questions, I really suggest to check out the Higurashi forum in the famous fansub forum everyone knows about. Overall, however, damn good series.
