Tenshi K. Tama wrote:Savers? Never heard of it. I've only heard of the first 4 seasons. Please explain this 'Savers' season to me.
Savers is the newest season in Japan, like Tamers and Frontier, it follows its own storyline.

In a nutshell, it's about a boy named Masaru who loves to fight. After getting in a fight with an Agumon, the two become friends and partners. Though not so thrilled about it at first, he eventually joins a group known as DATS, who monitor Digimon activity in the real world and deal with any problems caused by Digimon. The Digimon evolve in the series through the use of a Digisoul, which the characters charge into their Digivices. Most characters can activate it at will, but for some not-stated reason, Masaru can only do it by punching another Digimon, though it's assumed because he loves to fight. Masaru is also among the few humans who can actually physically hurt a Digimon. Anyway, masaru ends up working with Yoshino and her partner Raramon, along with a genius called Tohma, and his partner Gaomon. At first, Masaru and Tohma can't stand each other, but they eventually becomes friends as well. After many events in the real world, it is discovered that a villain is resposible for sending the Digimon to the real world to wreak havoc. Through the course of events, more villains appear, a boy named Ikuto and his parnter Falcomon are introduced, more information about Masaru's missing father is revealed, and the story about ten years ago where a group of humans were deleting Digimon arises, revealing who the true villains really are.

That's about as much as I can give without giving too many spoilers. It's my third favorite season, because it goes back to basics for the most part. There are no cards, but I won't say there are no humans becoming Digimon, as supposedly there are supposed to be three who can become "Artificial Digimon". I don't really know much about them, so I won't give my input on them.

After Tamers was Frontier, where the humans actually turned into Digimon. Disney had recently gained rights to it, so not a lot of people even knew about it airing. In my opinion, it's the worst one. I just can't get into that one. Tamers wasn't my favorite, but I was still able to enjoy some of it, and the D-Reaper made it interesting.

Nobody seems to like frontier :/

I really like Frontier. In a way, it was Tamers without the digimon partners. Humans turned into digimon, story was darker, characters were a tad more serious. I think the main turn off is that there are no Digimon partners, but that doesn't bug me anymore.

Besides, Frontier has great fanfics. :)

Well, the new episode over the weekend revealed how the Digimon in Savers go to Mega.
Spoiler wrote:The Digisoul first explodes in a way that resembles going Super Saiyan in DBZ. It then receeds into the body and causes it glow a solid color. Using this, masaru, Tohma, and Yoshino transform their broken Digivice iCs into the Digivice Burst. They wave their arm around and charge it, shouting "Digisoul Charge Overdrive!", causing the energy to spiral towards the Digimon. The Digimon perform a warp evolution to Mega.
It seems like the battle against Kurata is going to end within the next few episodes or so, and start a new story arc.

The Digimon Dub Movies will be on Toon Disney this Monday at 7pm! Pass the word and Show your support!!!
Making an amv, is rather like being the director of a Broadway show, where you have a million dancers and each of them only knows one step.

I loved Digimon. I like the very first season the best though. What I really loved was the movie and I just loved it soooo much when I first saw it a while back... I want to see it again.

Frontier was one of the best ones. #2 on my list of all of them.
