Finally I have a reason better than amvs to get the dvds. (plus now I won't have import them.)
I'm surpirised they got the rights to the early episodes so quickly, although now it'll take them forever to catch up with current episodes.

Have they said whether or not Luffy is Gol D. Rogers kid yet?

We've found out who his dad and gramps are, and no, neither are gold rodger.

Yo! Yo! I watched the series when it started playing on toonami, but then I don't see it anymore. I've kind of been sidetracked with other anime and video games. I'm thinking of checking out the entire box set, but it has a lot of DVDs. I heard it was 220 something episodes. How many movies are made for this series and how long is it? Because if they plan to play it on tv, I'm in for one heck of a waiting period.

Well, right now it's at 363 episodes and (as of spring 2009) 10 movies. Also, I don't think toonami's going to be airing it anytime soon. I hate to say it, (in fact I techniqly can't) but, you should probably use the internet to find "other" means to watch it. It's a great series. (though don't expect anything like what you saw on toonami

)

Oh, well. Thank god for youtube and some other download sites I uncovered over the past 3 years. I happened to see a few episodes online, but I used a faster computer and that happened to be at my college. It's too bad I can't do it at home. Well, I could, but it would take time to download it. I'll get the movies then when my computer is optimized for a fast downloading speed, I'll check out more of them.

Of course, I'm not expecting it to be like toonami because most of the episodes are supposedly edited. When I saw some of them online a while back, they showed more scenes I've not seen on TV. Besides, I don't mind if it's in japanese as long as they have subtitles. Heck, I might learn japanese while I'm at it.

They censor Boob-tube here because of a lil thing the site's father wrote.

Whoaaaa! A big controversy. After just joining this site, problems like this already begun. I go to that site alot. They got some nice stuff, but sometimes when I try to find some episodes, it would say "removed due to copyright material". Don't go to it that often. It sounds like the name is censored because of the whole copyrighting issue. So, I don't know why some users could mention the name, but pretty much I can only enter youtube.

Well, what I was about to say was another site like veoh or something spelled like that. Rather then take too long like boobtube (sounds about right), it moves quicker. They even have uncensored episodes as well.

Anyway, could anyone explain what this new thing about luffy is? I have not been really paying attention to this series....so...TELL MEH
