Ed's tantrums are so funny. Without him half the comic relief would be gone. (Then again, so would half the angst and most of the story...)

Although I would be interested to see what the anime/manga would have been like if it followed Roy as the main character.

I love the Elrics, but fire-throwing action is too cool. He should have had a spin-off show........"The hero of Ishbal" or maybe something more modest like "The flame Alchemist" starring Hughes, Hawkeye, and of course, Roy, as they uncover the corruption in the military and choose to push Roy to the top

That special filler episode with the mini-sodes featuring Roy and the craziness around the office was great.
