Also, dontcha just hate it when you order something, it comes to your place, and instead of leaving it with your landlord at the leasing office, or trying to leave it with a neighbor like I requested, they just scribble "must come to post office" and don't drop it off by your door (after you request that for the 2nd time). I mean, cmon, I'm wanting this special edition box...I can risk it sitting on the doorstep for around, 3 hours between me leaving in the morning and coming back for lunch (on my secluded deck that stretches around the side of the building on the 2nd floor where people would definately see it sitting there and wanna steal it

) So I guess I'm driving to the post office today to get my Haruhi fix :/

whats the ordering of the dvd like? broadcast or chronological?

I'm hoping broadcast order, because for some reason I was convinced to watch it in episode order, didn't think it was that great, then watched it in broadcast order, it's like a whole different show.

limited edition at least is the original broadcast order. i think the non-special version is chronological

Bandai did a press release a couple months back stating that this is the way it will come out. If you are a dub fan though you are SOL because the broadcast order DVDs feature japanese only.

They said thigns had to be done this way having soemthign to do with the licensing company not wanting to allow Bandai to release the episodes in broadcast order at all (I think part of it having to do with the Japanese not getting dvds with them in that order).

I have the dubbed domestic version of the DVD and it has played in Broadcast order...

[mikuru ep 00 coming first followed by character intros and what not in broadcasting order]

I could be mistaken but I'm pretty certain the ep 00 supposed to be ep 4 in reality?

What disappointed me is that Patricia Ja Lee is no longer Haruhi [as I assumed from some of the ASOS vids] but now just an 'extra' school girl and we have Wendee Lee as Haruhi.

Now as far as casting goes, EVERYONE [school boy / girl extras inclusive] have perfectly fitting voices, as is Geneon's policy of using good dubs, HOWEVER, Haruhi herself sounds inconsistent.

I think Wendee Lee could be getting rusty, but my wife highly preferred the dub over the sub and is sick and tired of me reading Mikuru rape doujins on a more consistent basis thanks to this dvd...

If it's really broadcast order, then the fourth episode on the disk should be the baseball episode (instead of TMoSH III), no?
