Knowing Haruhi, about 20 million I bet!
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

It has also said that two songs in volume 4 of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will be sung by Wendee Lee, the English voice actress of the title character Haruhi.
Oh, this I need to hear! I always liked to hear the English VAs sing.
Neat but wasn't the original plan to not dub the song? Still, hearing dub VAs sing is always an interesting thing.
I have a feeling that Plan A was to have the songs sung by the English actress, unless the person chosen for the role could not do it justice. Plan B (which was the likely course of action until the announcement) would have been to leave the songs in Japanese. I guess that the recording tests for Wendee Lee's renditions were good enough to set Plan A into motion.

I'll probably listen to the English version of the concert (and the songs) at least once to see how she did. I've listened to Aya Hirano's God Knows and Lost My Music enough times that hearing them in English would probably take a lot of getting used to, regardless of how well done the performance is. (I have the same problem with the original Bubblegum Crisis series - to me, the songs sound weird in English after watching the subbed episodes and listening to the CDs many, many, many times.)
Remember DoCo USA? Loved their shtuff. Here's hopin' Wendy's up to the challenge.

The extras on the domestic vol. 2 DVDs were quite humorous. My wife is gaga over Crispin Freeman's manliness... [the fucker...]

His joke about 'bowel movement' was funny though... ^_^

What catches me off guard is that his everyday vs. his acting voice are quite exact. Listening to Johnny's interview and other VAs in dubs, they sound quite different then when in character. Could just be me.

[listen to Aya Hirano during Haruhi's dub and after? Sounds like TWO DIFFERENT FUCKING PEOPLE... 0_0]
"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV

I've never noticed until now, but both Aya Hirano and Patricia Ja Lee have a facial mole beneath their left eyes (it's hard to see Ms. Lee's in that b/w photo but watch the ASOS videos).

This amuses my current avatar. :D
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

Hey! Remember that boobieshack video where the Filipino prisoners were doing the dance of "Thriller"?

It's unfortunately in monochrome, but DAMN this has to be the weirdest!

She's staring at my pointer!

Supposedly that's what she'll look like in the upcoming PSP game.
