Starting a thread for Mouretsu Pirates.

This anime is directed by Tatsuo Sato. He directed my all time favorite show, Nadesico. He also directed Stellvia.

So far I'm hooked. I'm getting all these awesome flashbacks to 90's shows, I just hope this becomes more ridiculous and silly and over the top. The MC is a little lackluster, but I think she'll be fine once she realizes she has the blood of a space pirate :D

You know, this is a really easy show to get hooked on! Seriously...

The plot is easy to follow
The characters are easy to distinguish and have likable personalities
The animation is fluid and shiny
Lots of dynamic energy and motion

Granted its not a "OH MY GAD THIS IS THE BEST FIRST EPISODE I HAVE EVER SEEN!" or a "THIS ANIME IS THE BEST OF THE SEASON" either. But it certainly is a 'WOW! SWEET! I THINK I'LL FOLLOW THIS!"

Totally worth taking a look.

Just started with Crunchyroll and I must say, I like it. I thought my internet was slow as hell (it can't even play Youtube right). But for some reason, Crunchyroll is perfect EVEN in HD! Highly recommended. :up:

Note how many pop-ups/viruses Chiaki had to resolve every second. Probably not gonna see a Mac reference in THIS anime. :mrgreen:
