Wikipedia wrote:Sakamoto Ryouta is an unemployed 22-year-old who lives with his mother. In the real world, there may be nothing really special about him, but online, he's one of the world's top players of the combat game Btooom!!
One day, he awakes in what appears to be a tropical island, though he has no memory of how or why he has come to be there. While wandering around, Ryouta sees someone and calls out for help. The stranger responds by throwing a bomb at him! Now Ryouta realizes both that his life is in danger and that he has somehow been trapped in a real-life version of his favorite game! Will Ryouta be able to survive long enough to figure out how and why he ended up here?

Re: Btooom!
I'm still on the fence with this one. I've seen enough of these survival game stories. >_> Gonna give it one more episode to see what I really think of it.

Re: Btooom!
First ep was ok, I just hope they can make the story interesting. The fact that their main weapons seem to be only bombs is a little disappointing but this could turn out to be a good show. Just hope it doesn't stay as depressing as the first 2 eps show,

Re: Btooom!
I don't see why you all are hating on this so much.
I like the plot. I think it's awesome, actually. I watched the first 3 episodes only jst now and I actually think it's better then psychopass. I don't really mind the two main characters being kinda fucked up (mentally).
The decadence in this is awesome!

I don't agree... I don't think making this is a fall or anything close to it.outlawed wrote:Script: Yousuke Kuroda

I'm going to keep watching this cause I hope there is more action coming up. I wasn't really turned off by the depressing stuff (hell, berserk is full of depressing sick stuff but it's one of my favorite series). It's just that there wasn't a whole lot of progression with the story. but we'll see what happens in later eps

Character design is a bit wierd, but the episode was so blood filled it excited me a little too much.
