Naruto 116-117 (Only about SPOLIERS)
Spoiler below
Just 1 obvious question..
I just finished watching eps 116-117 and still am not sure if they killed Neiji off or not. If they did kill him off, then that was a lousy ending for him compared to the big ol dramating ending they gave Chouji.
So does ne1 know if he got killed or just fainted?

that sentence doesn't necessarily mean that he needs to live to win.. he only needs to beat the dude....syazana wrote:No!!! Neji will not die! Never! Remember what did he say before his final fight with Kidoumaro? "There's a reason why I can't lose." or something like that.
either way.. I've read enough of what happens.. :Shruggs:

I thought the death scenes were pretty good and both characters went out well. For me, it put a little more value in the series as a whole, as well as add a hellova lot more tension to the next few fight scenes that will happen because yes, they really might die (Except Naruto of course).
If they take that back, the whole series will seriously be cheapened beyond that point. I really, Really hate dramatic death scenes that are not really death scenes cause... of a lot of things (Decided to forgo ranting about them for the sake of the reader).
Suffice to say I thought their deaths were memerable and it would be a shame to ruin that like they did with the 7 episodes they didicated to killing off someone else in the series. Although he didn't come back, that still wasn't a well presented death. These were (Although I did find the first better as well).

There are precious few actual deaths in Naruto. I think Zabuza is one of the few.Vancore wrote:Ah well, I kinda figured it may turn out that way I guess I can still hope at least one of them gets a respectful death and that there won't be two more situations with the same result.
And if they do, they should bring back Zabuza too. There's no way he could have died.

Exactly. And the 3rd Hokage.
How do you know that Hinata would come and help with vengeance if she learns of Neji's death?
A tip: Don't read the manga unless you don't care too much about the anime... It'll really spoil it for you.
