[GITS: Stand Alone] Complex Episode: Eraser
Ghost in the Shell s.a.c- What did Batou mean when he said that the laughing man had his eyes at the end of the episode? I've seen the laughing man's face before; has it appeared anywhere prior to this episode? What is you opinion on the entire episode?

He meant that he had hacked into his eyes (their mechanical) and made it appear that he was invisible. Thus, Batou panicked and the crappy dialouge commenced.
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

I have the first 20 Eps on DVD, and think they are very good.
This one (Episode 21) was a bit hard to swallow, for many reasons:
- It's pretty much a two-parter with the previous one.
- The "Laughing Man" is starting to remind me more and more of
another being we've seen in the GITS movie...
- What's with the "Cyberbrain Sclerosis" angle? I didn't learn any
more about it from this episode.
On the plus side, you do get to see Section 9 at it's best. Calling out all of the androids was interesting, as was seeing them crash from overload (and getting on their backups) while Ishikawa uses men in the VR Sex parlors to backup the backup. Nice trick.

The crappy dialogue did commence. The overdid when Batou begin yelling and shooting into the sky. The least he could have done was shoot in the direction he thought the laughing man went.
I should have known that the laughing man hacked in and didn't let him see. After all, that is her specialty.
They'll tell us more about the Cyber Sclerosis later on. They have to.
