I'll keep this brief:

Main site is here. From what I got in the AS forums of which they got in AnimeNfo, the summery is this:

On Astraea Hill, there are three girl schools; St. Miatre Academy, St. Spica Academy, and St. Le Rim Academy. In the corner of the site, there stands their common boarding house, “Ichigo-Sha”.

Astraea Hill - it is a sacred place where men cannot enter...

Aoi Nagisa transferred to the 4th grade of St. Miatre Academy by some reason. On the very first day, she met “Etoile”, Hanazono Shizuma. Etoile is the leader of the whole students of the tree schools, and she was a girl of admiration. She has a large power and trust, at the same time, she must shoulder heavy responsibility and duty proportional to her power. Nagisa was fascinated by Sizuma’s beauty and she was frozen. On the other hand, looking into Nagisa’s face gently, Sizuma put her arms around Nagisa’s shoulders and her face was approaching to Nagisa’s face...

First the upcoming Kasimashi ~ Girl Meets Girl ~ and now this! And throw in Geneon's upcoming release of Kannaduki no Miko and the shear amount of overtones in Mai-Otome, 2006 is finally popping out with more fappable material.

All right, according to Anime News Network, this series will be produced by Madhouse. So hopefully we're getting some slick visuals for this rather yummy title (please, series don't fail me).

well with all the yaoi and yaoi like references it's about time they have some more yuri too.. I suppose.. lol.. as long as the story is good..

From the looks of it, it reminds me of a more "aggressive" version of Marimite though the music that was played sounded pretty catchy. The animation from Madhouse looks good, and that grey-haired chick looks really mean and aggressive!

And at the end of the clip, seems like I made a mistake on the broadcasting. It'll premiere on April 3rd.

Ok, I did something very daring and got the first episode RAW! Due to the complete lack of the Japanese language, it's best for me not to give you a complete summary. I can tell that this is SO like Marimite even from the beginning scene of a cute, shy girl coming to an all-girl Catholic school for the first time. The character designs are cute, and Madhouse did a respectable job with the animation though it not that groundbreaking. The background music mostly consists of classic instrumentals while the OP and ED have catchy J-Pop tunes in it. The ED sequence is rather peculiar since it's actually a PV of the VAs Mai Nakahara and Ai Shimizu singing the ED song while doing......"stuff" together!

For a yuri series that serialized in a bishoujo magazine that's clearly aimed for males, there was not much fanservice, and the yuri tendencies are executed in a "tasteful" fashion (not to mention a LOT of teasing moments

). Let's see how this will go.

Woot! The good news is that the first episode is finally fansubbed, The bad news is that Media Factory is involved so getting it proved to be a challenge.

As usual with the first episode, it was mostly an introduction of the main girl Nagisa Aoi, the one with the cute pink-hair, and how she tries to fit in the all-girl school called St. Miatre Academy. She does makes friends with another girl named Suzumi Tamao who's seems to send off lots of indirect "yuri signals" (especially when she locked the door with her and Nagisa in the same room while holding a tape measure for some.....*ahem*).

Of course it's Nagisa's encounter with Hanazono Shizuma what made this episode worthwhile! The reason is that when Nagisa first met her, Shizuma went close to her and kissed her on the forehead. Nagisa obviously fainted. The second time is that Nagisa didn't know Shizuma was the Étoile (that basically means she's the head hauncho of all the schools who's also loved by all the girls). She mistaken one of the other girls as the Étoile so Shizuma basically surprised Nagisa from her behind. Shizuma then nearly forced Nagisa to stay still so she can lean over and give her a nice kiss....

....which unfortunetly got interrupted!

The teasing yuri moments in this episode is SO aggravating, but I'm definetely going to follow this one. The foundation has been set, and hopefully the next level of yummy moments will get achieved!
