After watching the first 5 episodes, this is a pretty engaging fantasy series I've seen in quite some time. Hakuoro was really born to be a leader though I'm curious about that mask he wears. Eruru and Aruru are so freakin' adorable, and the action scenes are surprisingly bloody (well, not totally on par with Berserk, but it's good enough). And not to mention the OP song is very catchy and the ED song is suitably enchanting.
And to think this was created by AQUAPLUS who did those cutesy harem shows like To Heart and Comic Party.
Oh yeah, Aruru's pet tiger freakin' kicks ass!!!

I'm actually realy liking this series so far, I wonder what took me so long to catch up to the rest after episode 1 ;p Lots of mysteries cropping up to be solved, And I agree, dispite what Hakuoro says (in episode 4), he realy does seem to be a good leader.

Episode 7 brings us the final battle against Inkura's forces thanks to Hakuoro's strategic planning. Guess who won the battle.
Next episode they're introduce us to those winged princesses, and it's seems it's going to be light-hearted. Not that it matters; the whole series can't be about war and death, right?
