Was wondering when this would show up :D. Was to Lazy to create it myself.

Seen 3 ep's so far and I really love it. The animation is fluid and the backgrounds are full of deetails. I love the animations style (exept for one tiny Flaw) and The music kinda rox. I have not read the manga or seen the live action movie that has been made. All three has recived Really good critique (spelling?). The only thing that bothers me is the characters big mouths, and i think that says alot.

I think there is a really sad and tragic aura coming from Nana (the "love love one, not the "dark dark" one) similar to the one that is present in the movie "Breaking The Waves" By "Lars Von Trier" (He is from Danmark so I dont know if his films have gone over seas) There is a great similarity between Bess McNeill (from breaking the waves) and Love Love Nana. Both love to mutch and are incredible helpless. But there is allso another verry important key part that I cant really put my finger on. Any help from anyone who have seen breaking the waves would be apreciated... Maan this will keep me up tonite.
I'm not so smart. I just stay with the problem a little longer ---- Einstein

ah tis finally made ;p I am likin this series so far, even hough it seems to be targeted more towards a female audience than male I think.

The story is pretty much about the 2 Nanas that meet coincidentally on a Train to tokyo, both of them going to tokyo to persue their dreams and boyfriends. The 2 Nanas seem like total oposites, but a strong bond forms between them as they end up living together in the same apartment in tokyo (another coincidental meeting after they split up at the station after arriving in tokyo). The story supposedly follows their friendship and love lives.

What I like about it though is the Honey and lover like humor in the series that keeps me comming back for more. Just enough humor to keep things lively, while still developing the characters sufficiently and becoming serious when it needs to be.

according to preview, Episode 4 seems to be introducing some info on the dark Nana now...can;t wait.

I haven't seen the live action or any of the anime, but i've read the first chapter of the manga. I thought it was okay, but i don't really like the "love love" Nana. She seems a bit too..preppy.

Strangely I was thinking exactly the same thing earlier.

This is a show that shouldn't work given it's rather pedestrian premise, but manages to capture some emotions fairly well. At least so far. I grabbed it on a whim but so far have been pleasantly surprised.

Yet ANOTHER show that I'll have to start watching as it comes out.

I'm another one who hasn't seen the anime yet, but I have seen the live-action film, which was great, as well as the first couple of chapters of the manga. This really is a great story, which avoids the pitfalls of being too "cute" or syrupy, and is confident enough to put its faith in the strength of the characters at its heart. It's definitely a shoujo story, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if the anime was heavily marketed towards the female demographic, but don't let that put you off. If the series is anything like the film, we're in for a treat.

Episode 4....

We finish up with Love-love cheery Nana and get some background info on the Rock nana now. There are some funny parts in this episode, but the anime is pretty much just introducing the two nana's past leading up to their trip on the train to Tokyo, so I'm eager to see where the story goes after they are done with that.

This anime certainly is NOT for kiddies ;p lots of grown up stuff in this  Not hentai, but what people like to call Adult curcumstances I guess. Nevertheless, I am liking the show so far. THe music in generall is pretty cool too, aside from the slight Engrish in some of the songs. I like the ending song alot, kinda reminds me of a song I think i've heard somewhere in english before though. :P

as for it being marketed towards Females.... its sponsored by a beauty colledge called "Glamour" aparantly, so yea....

There's something that makes this series so engaging (this also includes Paradise Kiss to a certain extent). It has your usual shoujo themes yet this is taken to such a down-to-earth level to a point it doesn't seemed contrieved or be like some crappy ass melodramatic soap opera. I personally enjoy it though you girls out there should seriously check this out!

Ai Yazawa really knows her stuff. :P

x2

One of the best stories out there, and it looks like it only gets better and better.

As for the anime ... I'll probably wait for the domestic release.
