Zoids Classic

Post by paizuri » Tue Sep 12, 2006 3:36 pm

This is the official Zoids Classic discussion thread. The focus of this thread includes Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force.

For other Zoids shows, a separate thread must be requested since they are in different continuities (well, technically Zoids: New Century Zero isn't in a different continuity, but it does occur about 4000 years after Guardian Force so that's not too far off the mark).

Wow...it's been ages since I've been here. Thank you to the mid-semester holidays (only get a few days though :s ).

Lets see...Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force is basically the a continued series based on military wars and stuff. Well, that's how I found it anyway. It has action, adventure and they even managed to put a little bit of romance in it. Never really liked the military type of movie no matter what it is about but I found that I actually quite like this one. :)

Now, if I remember correctly, it's about two nations are starting a war with each other believing the other was going to invade in their territory however, this turns out to be a plot for someone's conspiracy. A boy name Van, who befriended a special girl and gave her the name, Fiona and also a living robotic dragon, known as an organoid, Zeke. They enbark on a journey to find Zoid Eve which is what they believe will get Fiona's lost memory back, while making a few more friends and help stop the war along the way. Something like that anyway.

Out of the two series, I like Zeke the best. Zeke is so cute and powerful, too.

Hmm...let's see. Zoids, now that brings back memories. I liked Zoids: Chaotic Century the best out of the two series. Not to mention that the Blade Lyger looks a little like Lyger Zero.

Yeah, go the Lygers, they're awsome :D

I remember when I watched Zoids: Guardian Force and I compared it to Zoids: Chaotic Century and the characters were like years apart  it was funny. The Chaotic Century looked like children running around and then the Guardian Force was like, adult like.

Ah, now this was a decent show. Considering it was made for the purpose of selling toys, it was very well done. Still my favorite Zoids series.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Wow...this was created for selling toys!?! I didn't know that...learn something new everday :)

Yep, I didn't mind Zoid: New Century, I could watch it but it was just so so...I didn't like Zoid: Fuzors. There wasn't any point to it, I find. So, yep, Zoid: Chaotic Century & Guardian Force is definitely one of my favourite shows.

I didn't really think the Blade Liger would actually fit  and I would have thought that the zoid might explode into little pieces. Yeah, that was a good ending. I also like how the Blade Liger went against that Pulse Cannon...oh, I don't remember the name :? ...the attack that the Geno Saurer used. Anyway, I liked that one because it looked like the Liger was flying through stars. :)

Yes, yes...that was it. The charged partical beam and I remember the Denosaurer and the later version of Denosaurer, the Denobreaker have that too.
