This anime is written by Typemoon and animated by P.A staff. The story is from a game called 428, this was a Wii game that two members of the Typemoon staff created a single route for and Canaan is that route. The two members of the writing staff for the 428 route also help create Tsukihime and Fate Stay Night.
The animation for this anime is pretty good stuff its close to the same style as Kara no Kyoukai. Over all its a great start for this anime.
